Double Delta Olena
Superior breeding, talent, athletic ability and an incredable disposition is the way to discribe "Double Delta Olena." Add HOMOZYGOUS, and you know this a great stallion to breed your quality mare to! Already proven with very limited showing, "Doc" won the title of Pinto Congress Champion in Reining and Working Cow Horse in 2006. A month later, he finished his APHA Rom by earning 13 reining points over one weekend.
"Double Delta Olena" (aka Doc) has a pedigree rarely seen, going back to the great "Delta" on both top and bottom. "Delta" has her own chapter in the Western Horseman book on Paint legends, "More Than Color" She was the first Paint mare to be named to the Cutting Horse Hall of Fame. In the chapter, you can also find pictures of "Doc's" sire, "Gay Bar Olena", 2 time APHA World Champion in Reining. "Delta Olena", his grandsire on the top side and great grandsire on the bottom side is also featured. "Delta Olena" was a World Champion in Calf Roping and earned 6 ROMs including Working Cow horse. There is yet one more trace to the great "Doc Bar" in "Doc's" pedigree, through his sires dam, Nu Dottie, (AQHA) a multiple champion producer.
"Doc's" offspring started arriving in "2006" and are just now going under saddle. We are thrilled with what we see so far. They move flat and deep, making pretty circles, but are also showing us natural ability on the cattle. If you are looking for a performance prospect give us a call!
